Howdy Gift of Games folks, I'm back again with another attempt at Balatro! I've really enjoyed being a part of this sub for the past week or so. Its been a nice community to be a part of. Today I'm here asking if anyone would be kind enough to gift me Balatro.

What is Balatro?

Balatro is a brand new Roguelike Deck Builder that is very loosely based on poker. During the course of a run, you can build and customize your deck of playing cards to build a hand that scores massive points. In addition to building your actual deck, you get to pick from a suite of Joker cards to modify each of your played hands. Effects like multiplying certain suits or card types to score hands worth millions of points.

With over 150 different Joker cards, there is a ton of replayability in the game, allowing a bunch of viable builds to try.

Why Request Balatro?

I've played dozens of Roguelikes and quite a few deckbuilders; some of my favorites including: Slay the Spire, Inscrpytion, and Black Book. I recently saw a video of a youtuber I like playing this game and it seemed super unique compared to some of these other deckbuilders I've seen recently.

Do I know how to play poker? No, but I think despite its theme, this game is so far removed from actual poker that it won't matter.
