Hello friends,

Today I am writing to ask for the gift of WWE 2K24 Standard Edition on Steam. I will start by saying that my family and I tremendously enjoyed WWE 2K23 released about a year ago. It is a game that my family and I have now poured over 100 hours in as you can see from my Steam profile game time here

My dad is nearing the age of 70. He is the biggest WWE fan in our small apartment. One can often observe him watching WWE highlights on his cellphone during dinner. We like to joke that he’s more tech savvy than we are. He also truly believes WWE is not scripted to this day. We prefer to let him believe that because it makes him happy.

My sister is often overworked and always comes home tired. She is also a huge WWE fan, and I’d love to be able to share this game with her and my father as a surprise.

Now for me I have been going through a stressful period in my life. I have to work long hours and even weekends sometimes to meet my work objectives and still cover for all of my rent and bills. I cannot afford to buy WWE 2K24 at release for the full price. Therefore I am creating this request in hopes that a kind soul would grace our family and bring us all joy for the rest of the year.

From the press release until now I have researched WWE 2K24 extensively to decide that getting the new game is indeed an upgrade.

Below I highlight what WWE 2K24 adds that makes it an upgrade to its predecessor:

1) 40 years of Wrestlemania Showcase. For the biggest WWE fans, Wrestlemania is known as the single greatest wrestling event that takes place eachyear. The 2k developers have selected about 20 matches from 40 Wrestlemanias to create a showcase we players can play through just as if we were there in the arena during those Wrestlemania events. I have a lot of regret not having taken my father to any live WWE events. My personal favorite is Wrestlemania 24 which featured Triple H vs John Cena vs Randy Orton in an epic triple threat matchup. To be able to relive that again would be a dream.

2) More weapons like guitars, trash cans, microphone/ and you can even throw weapons

3) Multiplayer backstage brawls. You can also climb on tables now and the backstage area looks bigger than ever

4) Special guest referees. This means you can totally control the outcome of the match as a ref. If someone is playing as the ref you better be in good terms with the the ref should you desire victory

5) Casket and ambulance matches. Two new match types where the goal is to put your opponent into the casket or ambulance

6) Noticeable graphics upgrade. Wrestlers appear even closer to their real life figures

7) More WWE legends unlockables in the new showcase to grind for

8) Customizable audience signs. You can add little secret messages here like happy birthday or Go your favorite wrestler’s name!

9) New mini game where you exchange punches with your opponent. Just like in the actual WWE shows

10) New super finishers on top of already existing finishers and specials

The only times I can enjoy truly these stressful days are the occasional weekends where I can play games like WWE or just sit back and have my family select some wrestling characters and watch them duke it out in the ring. It brings us all back to an earlier time in our lives when life was much simpler and we were all happy watching wrestling together. Thank you for listening to my story.
