I'll also try to keep this one a little shorter

For everyone who wants to be in full picture, here are my first and second attempts :)

So the game is Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

Dark Souls 2: Why this one?

For the last 3 weeks, I spent a whole lot time on the first Dark Souls (Remastered). Either ingame, or watching videos about it, looking up fanart, participating in the corresponding subs, trying some mods, etc.

It was my first ever From Software game and I absolutely fell in love with it. I played "Souls-like" titles before like Hollow Knight or Blasphemous which I also absolutely adore, but this was something different. I'm actually kind of annoyed by myself that I didn't try them earlier.

In my other attempts I describe with a little more detail "how" I played the game. And now, I would like to continue my way through the games in release order, so Dark Souls 2 would be next. While I would absolutely love to straight up jump to Elden Ring and probably play the hell out of that game, I would love to experience to whole journey. I already read/heard that FromSoft games basically get better with each title and I would love that build up and also I would not like to ruin former games for me (Might already happen with Demon's Souls as I don't have a playstation ^yet).

Why not just buy it then?

I will, if one of those things happen:

1. It's going on a good sale
2. I get my first paycheck in about a month

Currently, there's a lot happening in my life and I would like to keep money together a little. I need to find a new apartment in the city I'm starting to work in, until then I need to travel a lot to there, etc. But as soon as I have my first paycheck, my problems will shrink significantly.

The only/main reason I guess is, I would love to play it as soon as possible. The waiting for it is killing me, I can be quite impatient with stuff like that :D But I also need to ahold of myself and not buy all the games in my current state. I recently bought some games (like the first Dark Souls while on sale), which already wasn't the best idea, but it's bearable.

So yeah, trying to be as honest as possible. I will/would buy the game sooner or later myself, just can't right now :D

Conclusion

The only things I can promise for sure in here are

• I will play the living sh*t out of this game
• I will 100% it (all achievements)
• I will make screenshots for Fashion Souls
