Ready or Not is one such option that has been on my wishlist for years, and I believe it offers a similar tactical thrill and relatively cheaper by a lot.

Ready or Not is currently in early access and is showing great promise. The developers have announced plans for a full release soon, and with that, an expected price increase. Acquiring it now during early access presents an opportunity to access the project at its current price point.
