So, I just finished Dark Souls, my first ever actual Soulsbourne game, so I thought I'll give this request an update.
The game: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
My Steam profil: Voit Peak
Why Sekiro?
As mentioned, I recently played the original Dark Souls, and simply put: I. Want(would like). More! I need more! I have to play more! I've already started the NG on Dark Souls to get missing achievements, tried do more NPC Quests and checked a couple of mods. Sadly I couldn't pick another class/build, so I already started a fourth playthrough with a dex build (or rather a build that doesn't rely on blocking, but rather parrying and dodging for training purposes :D).
I'm aware that Sekiro is a little different, due to it being more "action-adventure-ish" instead of RPG, but I'm not bound to one genre. The other "souls-like" titles I played before were mainly metroidvanias or zelda-esque kind of games, so I'm pretty sure I will enjoy this as well!
The reason I specifically wish for Sekiro is mainly because it's on discount currently! :D But no matter what, I will play every FromSoftware game from now on, already added all of them to my wishlist :D And since I start working again soon, this wintersale is going to be a Souls party for me! Also still hoping for Demon Souls (and Ghost of Tsushima) to come out for PC, like other Sony titles recently.
Also, I love japanese culture/history. While I like anime, I'm not the biggest fan of anime games, so my options are quite limited. A fellow person here already recommended the Nioh franchise to me, with the second installment already being on my wishlist as well now :D And while I also started Bloody Spell (I know chinese not japanese but still enjoyable) but the it didn't really satisfy me enough, doesn't really feel like a completed game (sadly because gameplay in its core is pretty good IMO) :/
Why me?
I have no particularly great reasoning for this. As I stated before, while currently jobless, this will change in the near future (95% sure). If this isn't gifted to me, I might actually again buy it while on a discount, have to check finances tho :D
So I think the main reason for asking it to be gifted to me is because this month is my last one Im not financially stable and I have to plan ahead in regards of either moving to a new city or traveling a lot.
So if you want to gift a game to someone and you see a request that is more "in need" if you can call it that, obviously prefer them :D Whatever happens here, I will try and get most FromSoft games this wintersale on steam :D
Either way, thank you very much for reading this (maybe even again) and I hope you have a good day :)
