Hello again wonderful people of this sub :)
So, steam did me a little dirty. I was just wishing for Elden Ring after I had a hard time deciding between these 2 games and suddenly DS3 goes on sale :D (I wasn't gifted Elden Ring and I closed the thread, otherwise I wouldn't wish again for a game).
Here's the steampage of Dark Souls III
If you feel very generous, here's the link to the Deluxe Edition (If not, I'll probably get the Season Pass one day anyways :D)
And here's a link to my personal Steam profile
Soo, this out of the way, what's the reason I wish for Dark Souls 3?
Over the last months I finally started being kind of successful in Souls-like/difficult games. I 100 Blasphemous 1 2, Death's Door, I finally played Hollow Knight and Celeste and had a blast, and after nearly 10 years, I reinstalled Shovel Knight and finally beat the final boss and played the DLCs. In addition to this, I restored my love for RPGs after revisiting The Witcher 3 and Skyrim.
So at last, after all these years of living in fear that I wouldn't be able to beat any Soulsbourne game, I feel ready to tackle one of them. I did a little research about the difficulties and beginner friendliness and came to conclusion that I would like to start with either Dark Souls 3 or Elden Ring. And as stated at the start, 3 days ago I decided to go with Elden Ring and was quite unsure if it's the right decision, but I now it feels like destiny sent me a sign that it is time for the Dark Souls!
The reason I'm not just buying it myself simply is because I'm in my last month of unemployment and I already pre ordered 2 games that were released this month (Blasphemous 2 and Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew). Last month means, in round about 1,5 months I'm going to get my first paycheck after 3 years of heavy depression, loneliness and unemployment, and will finally be able again to buy games with a clear conscience, without having to be anxious if it was a terrible decision because I don't really have much money rn.
Alright, closing some words: If you read all of this, I'm already very grateful that you gifted your time to me! If someone is actually going to gift this to me, I make a promise that I will give my absolute best to 100% the game. I would promise other things but I'm actually not 100% if it would be against the rules, so lets leave it like this.
Also, either way thanks to this sub and all the wonderful and generous people that are making strange people on the internet very happy! It's a very wholesome thing to do! :)
