Hello r/GiftofGames my name is Mason and I'm student and avid gamer from the beautiful state of Washington, and I'm excited to share a heartfelt request with all of you.

As you have all likely seen Baldur's Gate 3 released recently and it's a masterpiece that has been stirring the hearts of gamers and fantasy enthusiasts alike. This is my 3rd time requesting the game so my fingers are crossed.

As I have said before this game has sparked such a fervent desire within me. As a fan of both D&D and CRPGs, Baldur's Gate 3 embodies the perfect blend of fantasy, role-playing, and nostalgia! The thought of exploring a richly detailed world, forging friendships with companions of varied backgrounds, and confronting morally complex decisions excites me to no end. My excitement has only grown since the games release and while I have been saving to buy the game I have been hit with another curve ball!

Just before release my car's alternator broke down and I had to eat into my savings to repair my car that I used to get to and from school and work. Thus I was unable to buy the game before release. I requested the game here during that time with no luck to be found. Alas the universe has thrown another curve ball this time in the form of my engine's cylinder 1 misfiring for an unknown reason. My car is back in the shop again, and I am beginning to wonder if life will ever let me play BG3.

So, I turn to the kind-hearted souls of r/GiftofGames in the hopes that someone might consider granting me the chance to embark on this grand adventure. In return I have a proposition! I need a change in luck in my life so if someone gifts me BG3 I will attempt to create the luckiest character possible for my first play through! I'll report back here with how my play through goes at a later time as well!
