I have not been in this sub for long but I've noticed some things,
Some people are outright disrespectful and choosing beggars here, I have standards and things I don't want to gift and some people think it's within their right to be complete a-holes,like many on Reddit when you mention you don't only spend your time on off brand websites and drinking yourself to death, but anyway, there's also those, who I see very often ,that post multiple times a day or completely ignore the rules of the subreddit and there does not seem to be MUCH of patrolling of the posts ,from what I see at least,I can be wrong and are happy to be proven wrong, but I've reported things a few times to the moderators and received no feedback or any form of response and it did not seem to have caused any reaction or enactment of the rules.
Also the negativity, the downvotes whenever you don't get chosen for a giveaway, why can't we all just be friends eh? I know I have been negative on this post mainly ,but there have been great experiences on here, like a Chilean guy who spammed me constantly with information on his adventures in the Yakuza games I had gifted him, which I liked enough (even though I genuinely grew tired of the Amount of messages I received) that I promised him the entirety of the Yakuza franchise and have gifted him the majority of the games (except like a dragon ishin and lost judgment).
I ask everyone whom I gift to tell me as much as possible on their experiences,as I take great enjoyment from others' experiences in things I love but 90% of cases...don't,of course it is not a requirement but I cannot deny to have been left disappointed, this should not affect my ability to provide gifts to those in need but it provides less of an incentive, also, many do not feel... interesting to read through their request forms or feel like there is..not emotion, but compassion, empathy, I can't quite put what I feel into words,English is rather limiting.
Either way,I hope this is allowed, but people please do better, you have, all of you have something unique that you can 'exploit' in the positive sense to acquire a much greater experience than getting A game and playing it for X amount of time to then find the next thing,I ask you to remember the human.
Apologies if it's not a coherent post,bit it's 2am
