I would like to request Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Growing up there were very few super heroes that I really liked, them being Spiderman, Superman, and Batman. Spiderman has always been a fan favorite because he has some really amazing abilities and Peter Parker as a character is really enjoyable. He’s very smart, strong, can’t fly but he can swing which is a close second, and can be really stealthy. He has a great sense of humor too even in the most dire situations, which makes him a very likeable character. As for, Superman what’s not to like about him? He can fly, run really fast, shoot beams from his eyes, and is almost indestructible. Batman on the other hand is a darker character and has this sense of mystery to him. He’s just a regular human but is incredibly smart and uses that to overcome his foes.

Admittedly I never knew about the Guardians of the galaxy team until the recent movies released as I don’t read comics and what I know about the super heroes are from the movies and tv shows/cartoons. At first I didn’t know what to think of it because I saw that it was trying to be funny but for some reason Star Lord didn’t grab hold of me right away. Rocket and Groot on the other hand are really likeable though.

When this game was first announced, I quickly dismissed it because you play as Star Lord only but none of the other characters, and to me that was a bummer. As I started watching more gameplay and reading reviews though, the game started capturing my attention more. Being busy with my job and paying attention to other releases kept me from trying out the game and I wasn’t sure that I’d enjoy even though many praised the game. Recently I decided to do some more research on the game and after watching several gameplay videos, I now understand why so many enjoyed the game. I’m glad that I didn’t completely give up on this game because it looks like an amazing game to play.

The game is a third person action game, which is one of my favorite genres. This game also focuses on the interactions between your team as you set out to try and save the world. You play as Star Lord who bands up a team of characters just as wild as he is and set out on a quest to save the universe. The team consists of Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax.

This is an original story that has you trying to fix catastrophic events that were set off by you. Playing as Star Lord, you take your team around the galaxy to fight a bunch of baddies with your blasters, jet boots (for drop kicking anyone who get in your way), and use tag team combos to perform crazy stunts. You can apply different elemental types to your weapon and there are even sequences where you get to fly your spaceship and fight foes.

If that wasn’t enough, the game has an amazing soundtrack that adds to the game. The game looks amazing and definitely the type of game that I’d enjoy to play. Thank you for taking the time to read this and to whomever can be so generous.
