Hello members of GOG, hope your year has started off well!

I stand before you to request Borderlands: Game of the Year Enhanced edition. I have been wanting this game for quite some time, and I requested it once before about 90 days ago, but on ps4. I’ve decided I’d rather have it on steam because I don’t think the ps4 version is “enhanced”. (And I like steam better).

What is Borderlands?

I’ll tell you. Borderlands is an Action, Role playing, First person shooter, Looter game in a space western science fiction setting where you can play by yourself or with others and go through the story and collect unique (and sometimes hilarious) loot along the way. I’m not sure if you can PvP Duel in this one but you could in Borderlands 2 & 3.

Why do I want Borderlands: GOTY Enhanced?

I’ll give you a few reasons.

Borderlands has an amazing, comic art style that holds up really well no matter how good or bad your setup is.

Then there’s the dialogue, my favorite game of the series, Borderlands 2, has some hilarious dialogue. Here’s a thread on some of the funniest dialogue in the game if you’d like to take a look. “You’ll never catch me alive you robotic sum’ bitch!!”

Ah, the loot. There’s tons of really cool guns, grenade mods, shields, etc that you can obtain from various methods such as (but not limited to) drops from enemies, finding them in porta-potties, opening chests, and even killing Loot Midgets that drop chests on death. Yes, Loot Midgets. Lmao. You can obtain various types of guns in the Borderlands games. Guns that you throw and explode when you reload, guns that scream when you shoot them <- (Skip to about 40 seconds), and more.

The borderlands games always have me laughing and saying “what the hell?”. I love these games.

Why can’t I get it myself?

Money is a huge issue for us right now. Due to recent events I won’t get into, it’s gotten worse. Any money we do have us to go to necessities for ourselves and our fur children. Especially since a bunch of them are sick now.

If you haven’t played any of the Borderlands games I HIGHLY recommend doing so. They won’t be for everybody, but they’re so much fun, especially with a couple of friends.
