I’ve never been much of a super hero fan outside of Spider Man and comic books were never a thing for me. Growing up I played many of the Spider Man games and even watched most of the movies, but other super heroes never grabbed my attention.

While I did watch the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, I was not that impressed with them. They were enjoyable for the most part but I didn't find the movies that funny and the iterations between the characters themselves just didn't click with me outside of Rocket and Groot. When this game was first announced, I quickly dismissed it because you get to play as Star Lord, which was my least favorite from the movies. As such, I dismissed this game and figured it wasn’t for me until I started seeing that the game was praised by many gamers and reviewers.

Being busy with my job and paying attention to other releases kept me from trying out the game and I wasn’t sure that I’d enjoy even though many praised the game. Recently I decided to do some more research on the game and after watching several gameplay videos, I now understand why so many enjoyed the game. I’m glad that I didn’t completely give up on this game because it looks like an amazing game to play.

The game is a third person action game, which is one of my favorite genres. This game also focuses on the interactions between your team as you set out to try and save the world. You play as Star Lord who bands up a team of characters just as wild as he is and set out on a quest to save the universe. The team consists of Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax.

This is an original story that has you trying to fix catastrophic events that were set off by you. Playing as Star Lord, you take your team around the galaxy to fight a bunch of baddies with your blasters, jet boots (for drop kicking anyone who get in your way), and use tag team combos to perform crazy stunts. You can apply different elemental types to your weapon and there are even sequences where you get to fly your spaceship and fight foes.

If that wasn’t enough, the game has an amazing soundtrack that adds to the game. The game looks amazing and definitely the type of game that I’d enjoy to play. Thank you for taking the time to read this and to whomever can be so generous.
