So, to start with. I don’t know what would please either of them. I think her dad got a kick out of a rubix cube that had pictures of my SO and her brother as kids. Her mother has been offended (my SO has told me) by everything I’ve gotten her. He’s in his 60’s and grew up poor and has worked all his life. He has no interests except old history factual movies which he has all the ones he wants and doesn’t watch anything my SO has gotten him. She is in her fifties and she is into “boho” “crazy witch lady vibes.” (SO words) Doesn’t like clutter and last Christmas had literally talked to me and told me she would be interested in growing weed (legal where I am) and I started some for her and taught her things and got her lights and she just let them die because “he should’ve known I’m too busy to do this and I was never listening to him at all.” (Over heard on a phone call and I don’t know if I can win with her. I’m thinking something to do with women’s rights or something but I don’t know what.
