Hey everyone!
My parents have given me the world. The last few years of my life have been challenging, but theyâve both always stood by my side and acted as my biggest fans.
Last week, I officially received an offer for my first âbig girlâ job post-graduation! The salary is wonderful and Iâm really hoping to do something nice for my parents considering the fact they paid for my college education and financially/emotionally supported me for months while I applied to jobs.
Iâm hoping to spend $150 each on both parents.
My mom is my familyâs breadwinner. She works herself to the bone taking care of everyone else. Iâd love to get her something self-care related, something relaxing, or something that inspires her to remember to be gentle with herself. She also loves dogs and has three.. but she already sort of spoils the crap out of them so I have no idea what I could possibly get her that she doesnât already have for them. She also loves wine!
My dad is a bit more difficult. He has been on disability since his cancer diagnosis. He doesnât really have any hobbies and uses the time he does have renovating our house. I know he likes to be cozyâhis diagnosis has left him perpetually frigid lol. He loves the Ralph Lauren Polo brand. He likes to cook but I havenât seen him doing it too often lately.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated (:
