My sister passed away last December. She was suffering so it really was for the best. But I remember year ago...before so much bad happened in our lives, when we were closer she used to be completely terrified to be left alone in the house. She would scream and cry out for anyone to come quickly. After asking her several times she finally revealed what scared her so.

My sister was always very rational and understanding. But that day she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said that whenever she was alone the shadow people came and sat with her. She never said anything about them reaching or hurting her. Just that they came when she was alone and they never left her side while she was alone.

Now she is gone and I was 3000 miles away and never got to say goodbye...but sometimes on dark and sleepless nights...I sometimes think I can see a shadow moving across the room...
