So first thing, backstory.

I come from a family where on my mothers side, the gift of visions comes to every other child. I am one of them, and the visions are different for each of us, my visions take place in my dreams, and always show the future for myself, and are self-fulfilling, doesn't matter what I do my visions always will happen at some point in my life, weeks, months, even years after the vision.

To go along with this I am visited by Benevolent and neutral spirits on occasion, they inspire no fear when I see them but like anything unusual, they can be unsettling. I know the presence of spirits and how it feels when they are near because of my experiences growing up around these visitors. Sometimes they even enter my dreams.

I have two spirits however that I can not understand and wonder if others have meet them, One was Evil, the other neutral but notable.

I'll begin with the neutral one, I call them the messenger. This being mostly appears in the real world but has appeared in one of my visions. This being is not like any spirit i've seen or felt the presence of. It appears only in the bedrooms of my home, and only when a family member is near death. The last I saw it in the real world was shortly before my grandfather died in hospice. Upon seeing this spirit It feels empty, like nothingness, a void in the world where it floats, it appears as nothing but a black hood with inky blackness beneath. When I see it, it will turn to me and within a moment it seems to force me to blink somehow, before my eyes open again, it is gone.

Finally, the evil one. This one was only found in my dreams, it attacked me on two different occasions and has not been seen since. This being felt evil but at the same time inviting, it appeared in my dreams taking the forms of different people I know and their eyes would be bloodshot with a darkness around them when it took their form. It always smiled at me and it did whatever it could to get to me, I think it intended to become me if it won. However I have a general control over my dreams when I realize it is a nightmare, or in this case something else, and generally can give myself means to fight back. This spirit seemed to be very very old, as it was absolutely confused when it saw vehicles or firearms in my dreams, and the spirit seemed weak after I rejected it the first time and it attempted to attack me again.

Again, has anybody here seen these spirits themselves, or know anything about them? I'm curious to know what they are but the internet has failed to help me this time.
