Someone explain this to us, please. Lamp is staying powered while being unplugged for 24 hours. Old lamp. Lots of death in this room. No explanation from an electrician
Post Body

Backstory : We are visiting my husband hometown. We are staying in the house that was originally his Material grandparents home. His grandfather, grandmother, his mother and recently his father all passed away in this home... In this bedroom and actually on the bed we sleep on in the master bedroom. This lamp is old and it does need to be rewired, but it doesn't explain the light bulb staying powered AFTER IT HAS BEEN UNPLUGGED.

It has flickered in the past after pulling the pull chain, but I chalk that up to the wiring. We used the light last night, that is my son pulled the chain and I pulled the chain when we were going to sleep. My husband found the light on and the lamp was unplugged and we did not plug it in last night before use.

Sent to a master electrician who said WTF..

So here I am to ask you guys.. WTF?

Update: I'm a dumb ass... It's a rechargeable bulb🤦. I guess my sis in law bought rechargeable led bulbs. Please don't tell anyone, mkay. But I'm not dirty deleting my foolishness
