Okay so I've googled watch orders for GitS and read conversations here on Reddit countless times, but wanted some fresh opinions anyway. As a first time watcher I started out with the original 1995 movie of course, followed that up with the sequel film GitS 2: Innocence, carried on after that into GitS: SAC full well knowing it's technically a second continuity/alternate reality, and I'm currently halfway through GitS: SAC 2G. After I finish SAC 2G and watch GitS: Solid State Society I was planning on watching the entire GitS: Arise series and movie (which I know is technically a third continuity/reality) next, but now that GitS 2045 (the continuation of the SAC story after the events of Solid State Society) is out and nearing it's second season I've been wondering if I should carry on and go right from SSS to 2045 or if I should stick with my original plan and get my prequel/Arise stuff in before continuing the SAC/SSS/2045 story.

Keep in mind that I genuinely love SAC so far and was ecstatic to learn that the SAC/Solid State Society timeline received a sequel series in the form of 2045. Some people don't like the new animation from my understanding, and possibly even the writing at times, but I know I'm going to love it all. I'm still leaning towards Arise before 2045, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
