Hey all. I work in a bookstore. Currently, we have two collections of the GITS manga: the Deluxe Edition Complete Box Set (contains 1, 1.5, and 2 as hardcover books) and the Fully Compiled set, which is just the same as the other except it’s all as a single hardcover book. I’m thinking of getting one of these as a way to read the manga.

I did a bit of research and came across that the manga series has been censored? What exactly was censored? I’d like to read the uncensored version, but the description for these sets doesn’t make any mention of that.

I was going to ask for some advice on which of the sets I should buy but really it’s just the censorship I am curious about.
