So I got the game today with playstation now because it was free. I wanted to play because I've seen it and it looked fun. About 40 minutes in I found so much that would need a fix. For example, i would just randomly not grab walls and fall. So many times. About half my deaths in the levels are because i shouldve grabbed a ledge and didn't or because i shouldve wall ran but couldn't. I would hit the side of my head or just ignore the fact that there was a ledge and fall to my death. Oops. Gotta start the whole fight over again. Second is how enemies shot through walls. I would be doing parkour in one section and get hit by a bullet out of nowhere. More complaints about the enemies is their godlike reflexes. I used my focus and got behind them and immediately got shot. It feels like they're faster than the flash. Or as soon as I killed one enemy, i would get shot by another. Sometimes I would grapple something and it just wouldn't work. I was close enough to grapple it but my character stood there and did nothing and then I'd die. Also, wouldn't it make more sense to die in more than one hit. There was one section where I got shot in the foot and died. For this character who is supposed to be this amazing hero, hes weak as hell. Like, hes mostly metal. How does one bullet kill him. A lot of mistakes are my own. I can admit that. I'm not the worlds best platformer player. But there are issues with the game. And they're focusing on a sequel instead of improving this one. I love the concept and the story and the graphucs. The gameplay just feels lazy and unpolished. It feels like it's getting the cyberpunk treatment where they just completely neglect it. That's all for my rant. Hopefully I'm not the only one who thinks this.
