How long after birth were your numbers back to normal?

Hi all. I'm now the proud mummy of a beautiful baby girl, born by induction turned emcs at 38 1 weighing 6lb 1oz (so nooooo she was not on the 95th percentile - I'm looking at you, 34-week growth scan)
For those of you who've had GD in previous pregnancies, I'm wondering when your blood sugar numbers went back to normal? I know they do the testing at six weeks PP, and I know I don't need to prick test anymore - I'm just a bit of a control freak ;-)
