Aunt Nun claim Citizenship??

My great grandmother born 1872 in Germany.
Moved to USA in 1885.
Her sister, my great aunt was born / moved around same time.
Her sister passed 1946 in usa, but was a nun and never gave up her German citizenship.
Does German law have any exception due to nun / priest not allowed to have children where i could claim citizenship through my great aunt who passed in 1946??
