With her political position more or less stable as of yet, the EU content, and the military happy, Marine Le Pen can finally look outwards, beyond European politics and into the world at large. The geopolitical outlook has changed significantly since the Macron era, with an ever-uncertain world since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Just now the United States pursued an intervention against Venezuela which shall inevitably spark major petroleum price spikes. This recent event has sparked renewed interest in France to cross the pond into the Americas as a region of interest to the French state for investment and influence. It is a yet untapped Francophile region that has grown tired of the duality of Chinese and American back and forth. Perhaps this time they can rely on another benefactor, one far older in influence than both of them.
Mexico
Marine Le Pen has wanted to visit Mexico City for a while, while she holds distinctly xenophobic views on most non-European and non-French folk, she does hold respect for Mexico for their long-standing efforts to modernize and emerge as a powerful player in global affairs. Arriving on December 3rd she met with President Ricardo Anaya whom she discussed an interest in rebuilding ties considering France and Mexico's rather troublesome relationship in the past. Le Pen voiced an interest in a student exchange program for Mexican students to travel abroad and study in France, giving educational grants to impoverished Mexican students, giving them an alternative to the norm which were usually American universities. In addition, a free trade agreement and investment plan by French enterprise towards exploiting Mexico's vast and loyal workforce into producing quality French products to be sold world round. Le Pen has also signaled interest in investing in extracting Mexico's lithium deposits with a guaranteed portion exported to France at a premium, It has come to our attention that Mexico is developing carbon nanotubes alongside Japan, a technology of interest that France would want to acquire.
Panama
Following up on the visit to Mexico, Le Pen would visit Panama City and meet with the president to discuss trade. The Panama Canal is still of vital importance to the global economy and France by proxy, hence a certain amount of investment into the canal's maintenance, infrastructure, and resilience was proposed. In addition, Panama's Lithium-6 project has caught the attention of Paris as an affordable investment in lithium isotope separation technology. France will share the technical know-how and funds needed to work on the project should Panama agree to share the technology with France.
