Ukrainian Navy
Following the negotiation with Russia, the Black Sea Fleet is now, once again in Ukrainian hands. However its state was abysmal. The Admiral of the Black Fleet insists that the condition was not how it was in back in 2014 but all records do agree with Vladimir Putin’s assessment - these things were tubs back then.
No matter, for these vessels will be restored and modernized at the Odessa Shipyards.
Grisha-class (U205 Lutsk and U-209 Ternopil) Anti-Submarine Ships will begin restoration, completion is projected to be in late-2028.
Tarantul-class Missile Corvette (x2 Ships, Prydniprovia, Kremenchuk) will begin restoration, projected completion by June 2029. The Uzhgorod and the Khmelnitsky have not been returned. It is believed that this is now in Nicaragua. Fuck.
Pauk-class Anti-Submarine Ship U-208 Khmelnytskyi will undergo modernization and will be completed in early-2029.
Mukha-class Small AS-Ships (U-201 Lviv, U-203 Luhansk) will complete modernization by late-2027.
Foxtrot-class Patrol Submarine, U-01 Zaporizhzhia. Scrapped - too obsolete.
Natya-class Minesweepers (U-310 Cherkasy and the U-311 Chernigov) will undergo modernizations. They are anticipated to be completed by late-2027.
Ropucha-class Landing Ship Tank, scrapped. Unable to return back to service as the crew disabled it back in 2014.
Slavs-class Ukrayina, Missile Cruiser. A full modernization will begin, it is projected to be complete by 2028.
However, to note for all of these ships, true their modernization may be soon or later, the largest problem for them is cleaning them and ensuring not only are they sea-worthy but also presentable. These vessels will not be completed until 2030, significantly so for the Ukrayina. There will be another update in the 2029 procurements but total, the entire project for this fleet will cost approximately $1.9 billion, if not more.
