With the ongoing situation in Ukraine, an additional $40 billion have been allocated to Black Space projects. Most of the funding would be included in essentially accelerating SAURON's deployment, with full 100% operational service by 2024. The majority of the funds go into doubling the infrastructural efforts to implement the on Earth portion of the SAURON architecture. For this, an additional 30 launches over the next 3 years have been ordered from SpaceX, ULA and Blue Origin, at the cost of $5 billion.
The X-62 Peregrine full deployment is also accelerated to 2025, while RASTOL to be operational by 2026, with an additional $20 billion poured into the program.
The remaining costs are to be sunk into Operation Olympus. The launch of 3 Falcon Heavy in the next 4 months. The first will be launched in July, and will each will carry with it a 64 metric tons payload, classified designation of Zeus, Posidon and Hades. Each of the Olympus satellite will enter into a Molniya-esque highly eccentric orbit designed to provide maximum coverage over the northern hemisphere and ease of deorbiting at a high angle of attack. On board it carries ten 6-metric tonnes payload, each with an additional 10 submunitions hypersonic glide vehicle pod satellite guided with a 600kg payload, impacting with the equivalent energy of 3kg of TNT per kg of payload. To reduce the time it took to be launched, the satellite bus was a simple commercially available, while the vehicles were essentially taken out of the Minuteman stockpile.
