After meeting some quite unpleasant resistance in Khoms, the High Command has decided that it is time to take a slightly more aggressive push in the areas controlled by the IAL, which is why it has ordered the general evacuation of Khoms, promising to subsidize a housing program in Libya in the post-war and sending multiple care-packages and even luxury goods such as phones, better food and other items that can make the life of the common Libyan quite easier.

Without further ado, the High Command has conjured a new operation called “Rashidun.”

Operation Rashidun

• After the failed encirclement of Khoms, it seems that the next option is the beginning of armed conflict in the city. Using the recently-bought Uran-18, the city of Khoms will be the first to experience the use of these unmanned tanks in battle.

The 1st United Arab Scout Platoon, composed of 20 men, will be accompanied by the 3rd United Arab Specialist Explosive Team, which is composed of 7 men that have specialization in removal of traps, explosives and etcetera.

The main mission of the 1. UASP will be scouting and locating insurgent outposts, before establishing the role of forward air control and marking the outposts on a map.

During the scouting and recon mission of the 1. UASP, there will be a deployment of the 2. UASP, which will be exploring the southern part of Khoms whilst 1. UASP will be exploring the north.

The 2nd. UASP will be accompanied by the 8th United Arab Specialist Explosive Team.

If the 1. UASP or the 2. UASP are engaged in a firefight, 4th, 8th and 3rd Artillery battalions are allowed to let out three artillery barrages if source of fire taken by UASP, if not two blocks further and the use of the 1st. UTB and 1st. And 3rd. RT are allowed.

The scouting operation will begin on the 2300, after troops from the United Arab Army temporarily turn off operations from the Khoms Power Plant.

The scouting operation will have a period of 2 hours from the beginning of the mission, which means it will be completed at 0100.

After the results of the scouting operations are prepared and indicated on the map, with the forward air control being set, the 3rd. UAAFS, United Arab Air force Squadron, will follow the coordinates and recommendations and use KAB-1500L explosives to eliminate the buildings of which insurgents are inside.

At 0230 the airstrike will begin but the 1st. Unmanned Tank Battalion will be moving at 0210 to Khoms, accompanied by the 1st. Regimental Team and the 3rd. Regimental Team.

By 0232, the 1st. UTB is ordered to attack through the main street, being followed by 1st. And 3rd. RT.

The 1st. UTB will be taking the brunt of the battle and moving towards the center of the objective, which is the outskirts of the southern part of Khoms.

The 1st. RT and the 3rd. RT will be accompanying the 1st. UTB in a guarded fashion, as they clear out buildings in a grid-like manner and make sure to guarantee that no buildings have booby traps inside of them.

Controlled demolitions of buildings is allowed in order to take down targets, as well as preemptive target elimination. The main focus of this operation is to make sure that we have a solid foothold in Khoms.

Soldiers are not allowed to execute or shoot civilians, warning shots are allowed. The UAR Army Command recommends giving civilians food and relief packages, as well as assurances.

The 4th. UAAFS will be establishing air superiority in the city while doing close-air support when necessary, although it has been strictly recommended that jets use very small explosives and to not damage the main infrastructure of the city. It is imperative that the main streets are preserved for tanks to move and the mechanized forces as well.

The officers are going to be responsible for following this map.

Operation Fallen Angel

While the Khoms operation is being established and executed, in the south, at the city of Ash Shurayf, a bottleneck has been met as soldiers struggle to be able to defeat the enemy.

The 2nd. Company of Unmanned Tanks will be responsible for doing the initial clearing of the city as it passes through the main street and does fast movements around the city, taking the main blows and explosion attempts.

While the 2nd. CUT is busy engaging the insurgents in a battle of velocity and movement, the 13th. Company Army Team will be responsible for breaching-and-clearing the houses, taking down prominent insurgent leaders and securing the outskirts of the town before descending, grid-to-grid until the last remaining area is the mosque that stands in the center of the town.

As the firefight will certainly intensify as the soldiers get closer to the mosque, the 2nd. CUT will be responsible for making itself as a mobile shield against the insurgents trapped inside the mosque, surrounding it.

The 13th. CAT will mount an assault without the use of lethal explosives, using only stun grenades and smoke grenades to confuse and disable the enemy of most fighting capacity. Lethality is crucial against the insurgents and the CAT is recommended to take harsh lethal action against fighting combatants only.
