The Algerian government proposes an monetary union between the members of the union of Northern Africa. This monetary union will be based on the EU.
In this agreement will be the following:
Free travel for people, goods and services. One currency (African Dinar) UNA bank, will control the currency No import duties
This agreement should increase trade and decrease cost (less need to protect borders), as has been proven by the EU.
The algerian government has not yet decided what the exchange rates should be, but hopes that all the countries can come to an agreement.
The amount of money printed, keeping inflation in check and making the bills secure will be done by one inter-governmental organization called the Northern African Bank (bank just in name).
