I used to live in southern ATL and would only have I-75 near me. That was the only interstate I’d need to take to go anywhere too. I moved just north of ATL now, and I use I-85 to go everywhere. I just wanted to understand how all the interstates work, like:
Doesn’t I-75 turn into I-85 once you get close to ATL? I think I traced I-85 on a map before, and I saw it goes allllll the way up north, while I-75 goes more to the west, right? Then there’s I-285... does that one run east and west? Is that like how the I-675 is to I-75, a branch off of the major interstate that runs perpendicular?
I was just interested in understanding all the directions the interstates go and what turns into what. :)
Thanks!
