My parents decided to surprise me with us going to Helen for like 5 days and it'll be in less than a month. however, I have no idea whats around there. It's my second time in Georgia, I've been to Atlanta cause i'm looking at Georgia tech but it looks a bit far to get back to Atlanta for more than one day (already driving from Maryland so long drives aren't what we wanna do). What do you think is good to do that's within about 45 minutes drive? Note that my brother, who is 11, will be around so that's limited what I could look through. I'm really lost cause most things are very much nature related, which we don't wanna spend more than a day around, or looked good till i saw some no so good reviews (the tubing's reviews got me suspicious.)

I know that note everyone here is gonna be an expert on the area but i'm hoping to get anything at all since there are about 18k Georgians here.
