I live in Lowndes. It’s very hot, lots of fly’s and gnats. Summers are unbearable. The Air Force Base is basically the beating heart of the community. High School football is everything down here. There aren’t any real redeeming qualities of Valdosta. I’ve been here 10 years and looking to move next summer.
