Minor annoyance in showed users for GDM

Is it possible to remove a person from showing up in the GDM login window? The issue is when I was doing the setup I logged into root and I have that user show up every time I power on the machine. Is there a way to just remove that from showing when GDM starts with out messing anything up? It just looks weird because it shows as "system;root". I would even be ok with it just saying root.
