Look we've had quite a few events that had the most random ass set of characters but amazing and deep lore

just look at the cast of the gaa rerun! None of them had any affiliation to the previous gaa but they somehow all became my new comfort characters and make me happy And since Fontaine seems to be up next in the Traveler's journey what better lore is there for Fontaine then oceanid lore?

Heck the last time we got some oceanid lore was during 1.4 so why not have it pre-fontaine

But who should be the character(s) in the event you ask? Why none other Diona (others are pending)

Why her you ask? Well it's because in her lore and character story she befriended the spring fairy aka an oceanid when she was very little (said oceanid was also responsible for giving diona her ability to create delicious cocktails regardless of its contents) but currently in canon Diona believes her friendship with the fairy was simply a dream so this could lead to some serious charcter development

I remember reading a comment that Diona could get kidnapped by an assassin or some researcher who's obsessed with Oceanides which could subsequently lead to Klee getting involved to rescue her best friend

Is this absolute naku, crack and hopiam yes, is this because I love Diona with all my heart and would die for her also yes, do I care?? No no I do not
