✨Khaenri'ah/ruin machine theory✨
Post Body

So I'm playing through Tsurumi island rn & there's a line that Ruu says that got me thinking about the archon war.

//As a added note I have not finished the quest there so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

We all know from Deinsleif that the ruin guards as well as the the many other variations of them are all built with the intention to be used as tools of war & that they can be found in practically every nation in Teyvat. But when clearing the fog to help prepare for the ceremony Ruu says "In the past, we didn't have any such monsters on our island. There weren't any furry people or big machines either" which I found interesting for a island that was shrouded in fog during the great darkness that befell Inazuma.

It then occurred to me that like I previously stated earlier, that there are all sorts of ruin machines (including terrifying giant ones in Sumeru) dotting the seven nations mostly at cites of ancient versions of those nations people & it got me thinking about how khaenri'ah is a war like nation which led me to a interesting idea. The archons weren't the aggressors, Khaenri'ah was. They built a army of war machines & invaded the nation's while they were either at their most vulnerable or getting themselves up off the ground forcing the archons to band together in a war to defend their people

As of right now though I'm still yet to explore Enkanomiya, the chasm or Sumeru so if I'm only really going off of what I know so far but either way I just thought I'd share this with everyone
