Mualani or Wanderer for exploration?

I have wanderer in my main team comp but i just pretty much use him to explore easily and especially i get easily bored if i have to run around. Eventhough i tried to build him a bit, i still cant feel his damage so its a bit of a hassle to include him in my team comp (nuevilette, ganyu, baizhu) And I can just use him whenever I would need to reach for something.

Is Mualani much better in exploring? Not just in Natlan but other places as well. Can I also make her a dps or sub dps with nuev? Any team comp suggestions? TIA
