Firstly this is an opinion . So don't get mad. I love mondstadt. It was the region that introduced us to teyvat and ultimately made me fall in love with the game . I liked diluc (still main him), Jean, venti, the whole knights and dragon idea. The region felt very simple , which a lot of players complained about. I however think that's what makes it my favorite, it was a simple region. I still go back and explore and have my commissions there. Sure some quests felt very tutorial like , but I didn't mind. And my favorite part, the dvalin fight. Holy shit when I tell you that it exceeded my expectations. I had no prior knowledge to anything before touching this game and upon seeing that epic cutscene before the fight , and then "caelestinum finale termini" starts playing, one of the most beautifully composed pieces of music . I absolutely can't begin to explain the nostalgia that OST gives me. I feel like if it weren't for mondstadt, I wouldn't have stuck around and kept playing . Maybe it's just me.
