I live in the US. When I first started looking, the 2023 models were out and the interest rates were 3.49%. Now the 2024 models are at 5.49%. That's horrible! Even with like 15k - 25k down, the monthly payments are wild because of the interest!
When I bought a GTI in 2012, my interest rate was 2.9%. Our 2018 CX-5 was 0% interest!
I wonder if there are other banks that would provide cheaper loans, rather than doing it through the dealership. I could buy this outright, but I don't want to take a hit to my investments.
Mine is 2.1% but that was during the start of Covid and i have really good credit. I shopped around with banks, and credit unions and got quotes. Went in there and they tried to give me a 4-5% interest rate but i had the quotes and ask them to match and they did.

No i got quoted just to see the interest rates they will give me and walked into genesis and pretty much ask them to match it or else I’ll just get a loan from whom ever gave me the lowest rate
