I'm looking at the WEN DF500iX and I really like the idea of having two, smaller, generators vs 1 larger.
Is there any way to parallel two of these in 240v mode?
Obviously the parallel ports are hot/neutral, so 120v... But could you make a cord to connect two units together at the 240v receptacles (i.e. L1-L1, L2-L2, N-N)? Would the inverters still sync up? Would I then be able to pull 8kw?
Or, alternatively, can I use the Genmax GM6000SPK parallel kit with the WEN generators? It claims to be able to get 240v from 2 x 120v gens. How does it do this? Does it just take one leg from each gen or is it actually syncing the inverters 180 degrees?
