Was Mary Tyler Moore a role model for you?

As a child, all of the women around me were married mothers who, if they worked, it wasn’t a career. Mary showed me how a woman could thrive on her own and be considered complete without a man in her life. And, she wasn’t focused on finding a husband. Her workplace was respectful and free of sexual harassment, and when I started working I recognized that anything else was not acceptable.
