Anybody else have this issue? On both sides, I can’t seem to find any family beyond my 2nd or 3rd grandparents. I mean, it’s cool that I got that far because I never envisioned even that being possible since I was estranged from most of my family & my parents left me at a young age (I’ve since reconnected with both of them) but I think it’s because my 3rd great grandparents seem to have come here from Russia, Germany, and/or Sweden.

My grandfather on my mother’s told me recently that he remembers hearing we’re distantly related to a Admiral Horatio Nelson who was a famous British naval commander, but I’m not sure because I can’t find anything past my 2nd or 3rd great grandparents.
