So here's my story, and I hope you can help. My grandfather passed away a year ago yesterday, he had become forgetful in the last few years but we've pieced together most of his financial and important records to make sure my grandmother is taken care of for the rest of her life. Her short term memory has been spotty for the last 5 or so years but her long term memory seems to be in tact. In order for her to receive his SS benefits we need to be able to produce a marriage certificate, which we've yet to locate.

They eloped which has made this process more challenging. We're pretty sure as the year(1955) month(December) and state(New York) but other than that we are lost. If anyone could offer any resources for potentially tracking down the town I would be beyond grateful.
