Most of my y-12 matches are Scandinavian. Was my ancestor Scandinavian?

I have 8 matches in Norway, 5 in Sweden, 2 in Finland, 1 in Denmark, 1 on Isle of Lewis (Viking settlement), and 1 in Yorkshire (Danelaw). I know the resolution on y-12 matches isn't very good, but would this most likely mean that my ancestor came from Scandinavia? My yDNA haplogroup is I-FT384455, a subgroup of CTS6433/SK1258, which is considered Germanic. There aren't very many people in the SK1258 subgroup, but most of them can only trace their ancestry back a few hundred years to Scandinavia and Northwest Europe. Thanks!
