For those who don’t know, today’s economic blackout is a movement where people avoid spending money to protest corporate greed, inflation, and economic inequality. The idea is to show how much consumer spending drives the economy and to push for fairer wages, lower costs of living, and better working conditions. Some say it’s a powerful statement, while others doubt its impact. Are you participating, or do you think there are better ways to create change?
One day isn’t gonna do anything, and if I stopped buying stuff from all the bad companies I couldn’t buy anything, I can’t afford to buy from individual sellers. I would if I could, but I just can’t.
