Music differences across anglophone countries
Post Body

I’ve noticed that when I travelled last year to the US from Scotland, the music tends to be very different, in Scotland, the rest of the UK and also Ireland to some extent, the music you would generally find on the poppy radio stations all tend to be very similar (this is based off of observation, I’m personally into more punk music than anything) but in the US it has quite a different sound to it, is the popular music in the US more homogenous genre wise? Or does it vary state to state, area to area. I do understand that in the US American singers and artists will be more popular in the US that they would be in the UK, and vice versa
