Who here grew up without air conditioning and what were your pre air conditioning rituals?
Post Body
I grew up in the midwest and did not have air conditioning til the early to mid 90s...one thing we always did when the sun started going down was put the fans in the windows, that seemed like such a nice relief on the hot days. Other things were making those ice cube tray kool aid treats with toothpicks. Putting a wet rag on your forehead while sitting in front of the fan on the worst days. Would bust out the slip and slide a few times if someone in the neighborhood happen to have one.
