Do you sometimes buy tickets to concerts and then decide not to go day of?

Post Body

A friend bought tickets months ago for us to see the Drop Nineteens tonight, but he can't make it and offered to give me his ticket so I can take someone else. I decided I'd rather stay home and work on a project than spend the whole night out, so I'm going to give him $30 for my ticket and stay home.

Comments

Judging by most sold out concerts this is very rare, I see 2 or 3 empty seats per show and that's about it. Small shows may be different and plenty of people might skip out on them.
