35 years ago this past summer, Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg's production company came out with "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", and broke the mold for live action/animation hybrid movies. It also was a wonder of collaborative cooperation of intellectual property from many different competing companies that would be nearly impossible to duplucate. The pre-CGI technical achievements of this film were astonishing for the time, and still holds up well today. Incredible performances by Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd, plus the incomparable Mel Blanc and a murderer's row of voice actors and actresses from animation's golden age.
Do you remember seeing this film when it was released, and how have your kids embraced it?
