Tom Robbins books - they didn't age well.
Post Body
Did anyone else devour Tom Robbins books in your teens/twenties?
Man, I loved his books. They were edgy, and funny, and took you on such absurd adventures.
I tried picking up Even Cowgirls Get The Blues again on a nostalgia trip.
IT WAS BAD. IS bad.
So cringy.
I put it down and will keep the happy memories I have tucked away.
Can you think of any other books/movie/TV that you loved that in retrospect, was not really that great?
