Gen Alpha is so disconnected, all they know is TikTok sound memes and Skibidi Toilet.
Part of the problem is their limited language skills, as early single digit aged children, sure.
But I posit that the main lack in any unified culture for GenAlpha is their lack of shared media exposure in the form of television.
Gen X only had three channels, god dammit, while Millennials enjoyed dozens. But those channels were still the SAME ONES as everyone else had! Everyone could go to school, or the water cooler, the next day and talk about what happened on Star Trek or the Ally McBeal. And find your common ground.
These days though, you might be born in a Netflix house, or a Disney house, or a Hulu house, or some ungodly combination of any of the dozens of other ones that stream now.
Kids are going to school now, and the ONLY shows they ALL have in common, are the thirty second YouTube skits where Elsa and Spiderman argue over how Elsa got pregnant, probably. And fortnight and minecraft.
