I do my mani-pedi and most of the time I can fix this but I find that with regular polish I can be a little messy and get the edges because it falls off in the shower. I prefer gel though and when I paint with gel I am very neat as I don't want it going on the skin but sometimes it does and I use a brush with nail polish remover to clean the edges before curing and sometimes this removes some of the polish on the nail and I have to re-touch. Even doing all of this when I cure it there's usually a few areas that cure on the skin which I then drill and fix but that takes extra time and sometimes it'll peel off because of this. Are there any tips of tricks to avoid this?
I just want to make the process better and faster as this is time consuming.
I read about putting lotion on the skin so I may try that to see if it glides off easier.
