Tips for talking to Adjuster?
Post Body

I was rear ended on the 13th while stopped due to traffic. He was probably going 35-45 mph based on the speed limits of the road. Filed with Geico right away and was given the option of filling through Geico or his insurance (USAA). USAA accepted 100% liability and we went through the inspection process. Damages amounted to approximately $22k with frame damage.

USAA deemed my Tacoma to be a total loss.

However, the value of my Tacoma exceeded his policy limits and I now have to continue the claim with Geico. The adjuster will be out Monday to inspect the damage to my vehicle.

I am getting a copy of the original damage inspection done by USAA.

What should I expect dealing with the Geico Adjuster? Even if my truck is repairable, I don't feel safe driving with my family in it due to the frame damage.

Edit: I haven't had a collision claim in 8 years, and this is my first one with Geico
