If The Coalition want this game to be a hit they need to listen to the fans and with the the new GoW trailer it looks promising. Personally this is the last time I give AAA titles hype because gaming is a shell of itself.

Since this game will take place on Emergence-Day it’s safe to assume there will be Pendulum War gameplay. I’m not a fan of Gears 4 but three things I did like were the scale of conflict show in ‘Aspho Point’ raiding the UIR base for Hammer of Dawn schematics. The E-Day flashback was interesting and the slight but present dark missions was a valiant attempt to me.

A prequel mission playing as Marcus during Aspho Fields would be kick ass and with Unreal Engine 5 scaling up the conflict on screen should be a breeze. Aspho Point but x10.

Meeting Tai Kaliso - for a moment during their first encounter Tai was going to kill Marcus but Marcus talked him out and persuaded Tai to join The COG army.

Bringing back the dark atmosphere of the game - do I really need to explain this one?

Will Carmine’s brief but interesting encounter with General Raam (perhaps he’s in your squad during The Battle of Aspho Fields 🤷🏾‍♂️)
